Email Review & Re-design
Montblanc is well known for its iconic black and white colour palette, but recent social campaigns had shown a combination of red, yellow and blue that give a contemporary look to compliment the existing brand.

I was initially asked to deliver a few modules updates within the current email system but it became clear that this could be an opportunity to proactively elevate their existing email comms to reflect the contemporary, editorial and playful nature of their social content.
This lead to a injection of fresh new colour themes, texture and modern artistry in a series of their customer journey emails.
Welcome email
To begin the journey, I re-imagined Montblanc's Welcome email. This email is meant to feel custom-made and as beautifully designed as the products.

WITH GRAPHIC ELEMENTS

Montblanc started with pen and paper, and it only seems fitting to incorporate textured and crafted elements when the brand is first introduced to the customer. Coupled with large, impactful imagery of the products to really showcase the meticulous craftmanship behind the products.
Taking module imagery one step further
I continued to explored how we could bring the Montblanc branding into their emails in a fresh and exciting way.
Taking inspiration from a selection of Montblanc's social videos I combined a mix of striking colours, illustrated elements and photography to create fresh and contemporary product and lifestlye modules.
The ULTRABLACK email campaign
To further my exploration, I used the ULTRABLACK campaign as an example to flex their email designs.
I also wanted to shift the email from being solely product focused to instead showcase the product through the lens of the influencer’s inspirational story.
